Coffee

In Ethiopia, in AD 850, a  shepherd named Kaldi took his cattle into the field for grazing. Here, some of his goats ate a few wild red berries. Soon thereafter, they started jumping up and down excitedly. Kaldi assumed that the berries contained some intoxicating product.
So he took some of those berries to the villege priest. The priest boiled them and drank the exact. He found himself very fresh and full of enery. The priest continued drinking this juice even for his sermon during Sunday prayers. he noticed that while he felt sleepy during long sermons earlier, after drinking this refreshing drink, he not felt active and wide awake. The priest shared his experience with others and this is how coffee was discovered.
In 13th century, Coffee moved to Arabic countries and was the popular drink there. They exported the coffee beans but never sold the coffee seeds or plants for fear of losing our on exports. But the coffee plants secretly spread and the plantation spread to other parts of the world.
Coffee contains caffeine, which keeps the mind alert and is the main reason why intellectuals prefer coffer to other drinks. At a time, coffee was considered to be a medicine in England and France and was advised for common cold, small pox, etc.
Converting coffee beans in to coffee powder is a tedious process and great skill is needed for this.  Then the instant coffee powder was made, so that everyone could make coffee easily.
