How does DTH cable system work.

Digitalised direct-to-home television technology is one which eliminates the neighbourhood cable operator between the viewer and the broadcaster allowing subscribers to view channels directly from the broadcaster or service provider. Subscribes are provided with a conditional access viewing card to be inserted in a digital received which is connected to a dish antenna of 85 cm. The DTH channels would be perceptibly sharper, powered as they are by KU-bank transponders whose beaming strength is much stronger than analog transponders. Digitisation also ensures that there is no transmission loss as the signal remains distortion-free.
